Juanli Carrión Juanli Carrión was born in Yecla, Spain in 1982. Carrión hold a B.A in Fine Arts at The University of Grenade and Saint Dennis Paris VIII and an M.F.A in Visual Arts at Polytechnic University of Valencia. His work has been shown internationally in solo and group shows in Japan, USA, France, UK, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Greece, Austria, Kenya, Peru, Trinidad & Tobago, Mexico and Colombia. He has been the recipient of grants like INICIARTE 2009 & 2010 (Spain), Grant for Visual Arts by The Cultural Department of Murcia (Spain), 2010 Grant for Contemporary Art by The General Consulate of Spain (New York) or Jentel Foundation (Wyoming, US). He has been an artist in residency at ISCP (New York), IAGO (Oaxaca, Mexico) or Kuona Trust (Nairobi, Kenya). He lives and works in Brooklyn, New York. |
